For weeks there were rumors of who Donald Trump would pardon before his time in office officially came to an end.
One person who made an attempt to reach out to Trump with hopes of being released from behind bars was none other than Joe Exotic. As we previously reported, last September, Joe asked Trump to pardon him and alleged that he was sexually assaulted by the staff members at the prison where he is currently serving his time.
Fast-forward to earlier this week, Trump issued pardons and commutations for 143 people, however, Joe was not a part of that list of people.
On Wednesday, a photo of Joe and one of his tigers was posted to his Twitter account where he said, “I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first.”
Prior to learning that he was not on the list, a message from Joe was posted to his official Instagram account, which read, “As I sit here and pray waiting that I am on that list, I ask my group of Angels to please help God guide this to happen. I am going to help so many children fix their faces and stand up for those with no voice. God will be proud.”
As previously mentioned other prominent names that received a pardon from Trump was rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. It was later revealed that Kodak Black was released from prison in Illinois after receiving the pardon.
