It has been one year since the tragic passing of country music icon Kenny Rogers.
And on Saturday, his wife Wanda Miller Rogers posted an emotional tribute to her late husband on Instagram, sharing a selection of family photos.

Wanda included a throwback portrait of Kenny hugging their twin sons Jordan and Justin, as well as a heartbreaking snap of the family paying their respects to the late star’s casket during a memorial service.
Rogers died of natural causes at his home in Sandy Springs, in northern Fulton County, Georgia, at the age of 81.
‘Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,’ read his family’s statement at the time.

Kenny’s family and team also posted a lengthy message celebrating his memory on the late star’s Instagram.
‘It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year since Kenny left us. As you can imagine, some days are better than others, so we wholeheartedly thank you for your thoughts, prayers and support over the last year,’ the caption read.
‘It means so much to us. The memories of Kenny and the kind words you’ve shared have inspired and uplifted us…brought tears to our eyes and made us laugh. No matter what we’re going through on any particular day, we know we will never stop missing him, and we’ll forever celebrate the person he was and his extraordinary musical legacy. We can all take some comfort in knowing the music lives on!,’ said the message alongside a stoic photo of Rogers.
