TSR Updatez: As we previously reported, Kodak Black’s security guard was injured on Monday morning in a shooting that authorities believe was an intentional hit on Yak.
According to TMZ, authorities are now looking into a series of threats made to Kodak–specifically those made by music producer #Southside. If y’all recall, Southside took to Instagram to addrsss Kodak after he mentioned Yung Miami in his IG live.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that while authorities are reviewing the comments Southside made, there are no named suspects in the shooting. The investigation is still open and ongoing.
The Tallahassee Democrat reported that Kodak’s security guard was injured after individuals opened fire on him and his entourage. Police say the individuals were following Kodak and his team in a car before opening fire.
Kodak and his team were reportedly blocking the entrance to a local McDonald’s when one of the vehicles following them and began shooting at his security guard. The man was shot in the leg and taken to a local hospital, and Kodak was transferred to an armored vehicle and removed from the property.
While Southside is not officially a suspect in the case this is not the first time that he’s found himself getting spicy with a rapper on social media. Just last week, Southside took to the ‘gram with some words for Lil Uzi after he went live with Yung Miami.
