Ask & you shall receive! Social media has made it very easy to support those in need. We’ve seen it several times, where social media bans together to help raise funds for those who need it the most. Recently we saw an outpour of support to Subhakar Khadka, the Uber driver who was assaulted in San Francisco. Social media rallied together and donated to his GoFundMe account that exceeded the initial goal of $20,000 goal and has since raised over $105,000. Today a lucky fan received support from her favorite rapper when she needed it the most!
One of CupcakKe’s biggest fans, Danielle, revealed she needed financial assistance on Twitter. Over a week ago, Danielle shared that she was facing eviction. On 3/18, the fan tweeted, “Currently facing eviction in the middle of a fu**ing panny. Anything helps! I need $2,163, and I’ve currently been blessed with $86!!!!! Here’s my cash app: $Stanlife99 https://cash.app/$stanlife99 PLEASE RT SHARE AND BOOST! Please give if you can.” She even shared documents to support her claim so that folks knew she was serious.
However, it seemed like she wasn’t receiving any luck because just days after, on 3/23, she made another tweet to the thread advising that she was served with papers and asked for prayers. Prayers were answered when CupcakKe came through today and shared a screenshot of her sending Danielle $2,100 via Cash App. She tweeted, “Took care of that bill for you. God bless you.”
Danielle was ecstatic and very grateful for the help. Still, several people were confused about why she was facing eviction because the CDC announced they were doing another eviction moratorium. The new deadline had been extended to March 31st. Danielle addressed a few commenters online by tweeting, “They’re still doing evictions here in ATL. I mean, my a*s was served with papers. It’s ridiculous!!!! Paying it off tomorrow, though.”
Good job, CupcakKe we love to see celebs helping their fans!
