We haven’t heard much from Donald Trump since he left office, especially after being banned from multiple social media platforms but he made his first public appearance this weekend at CPAC 2021.
Donnie was the marquee speaker at the conservative convention, and even hinted at taking another shot at becoming president. Now y’all know Donnie was not happy about Joe Biden winning the White House, so are y’all really surprised that he might want his seat back?
“With your help we will take back the House,” he said. “We will win the Senate. And then a Republican President will make a triumphant return to the White House. And I wonder who that will be.”
While Trump did not explicitly say he will be making another run, he seemed to be up to his old tricks. When addressing the crowd, he asked “Do you miss me yet?”, and proceeded to refer to undocumented immigrants as “rapists” and “killers”. He also briefly spoke on COVID and foreign policy.
Y’all know he couldn’t walk off the stage without words for Predient Biden, however. He commented on Joe’s first month as President, saying it has been “disastrous”, particularly when it comes to immigration.
While it has only been one month since Biden has been in office, the president has already made some strides toward undoing the work of 45. As we previously reported, President Biden has signed several executive orders, and has even overturned Trump’s transgender military ban.
Now we know that might not mean much to those who are waiting on those stimulus checks, but the $1.9 trillion COVID relief package is still in the process of being voted on. As of Saturday, the bill was passed by the house and will now go to the Senate.
