Roomies, earlier this month we reported that Famous Dex was pulled over by LAPD for his vehicle not having a license plate on the back of it, and during the encounter, he was arrested due to authorities discovering he was carrying a concealed weapon. Dex was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a restraining order, so he was arrested and booked on a felony charge. However, according to new reports from TMZ, it looks like Dex is facing 19 more charges, including domestic violence.
The reports show that two of the alleged domestic events involve two different ex-girlfriends. In November, cops responded to a domestic disturbance at his home and found a woman who allegedly had cuts on her. During the incident to Dex barricaded himself inside with guns and a SWAT standoff ensued. He is been charged with domestic violence, weapon possession, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime, and defacing property.
Dex is also facing several charges for another domestic violence incident with a different woman from last October. The charges include corporal injury domestic violence, threatening a domestic partner, exhibiting a firearm, inflicting bodily injury, dissuading a victim from reporting a crime, defacing property, and illegal possession of a firearm. As of right now, the City Attorney’s Office advised TMZ that the “Pick It Up” rapper is facing up to 18 years in jail.
It’s unclear where things seemed to take a turn for Dex, he was just released from rehab earlier this year after NLE Choppa, and John Gabbana (formerly known as Boonk Gang) showed their support and offered Dex some encouraging words as they urged his team to get him some help.
