Miley Cyrus recently mourned the loss of her beloved dog Mary Jane.
But the Grammy nominee has recently welcomed a new love into her life, as she expands her furry family.
She shed happy tears Sunday, as she introduced her new pit bull rescue Angel to her 124million Instagram followers, one month after bidding a devastating farewell to Mary Jane.

The 28-year-old wrote: ‘Almost two months ago my best friend a rescued pit mix Mary Jane left this world. I knew she wasn’t gone for good.
‘She had out lived the body she was in but she never said goodbye ….. with her eyes she whispered “See you soon Bestie”. Mary Jane defined loyalty and would never break a promise.’
She added: ‘I feel her here with me blessing this new member to my family who’s name is “Angel” because she was delivered to me by one… My Mary.
‘It breaks my heart to know Angel was sleeping on concrete in a shelter for 3 months before finally making it home.’

Fitting right in: Miley continued to gush over Angel, who seemed to be fitting in quite nicely with the rest of her canine brood: ‘I am head over heels in love. Not sure I will ever sleep again because I can’t take my eyes off of her! Her halo shines for all to see and I can’t wait to show her off!’

It comes after Miley revealed last month that Mary Jane died from cancer, almost nine years after she adopted the dog in 2012.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: ‘I thanked her repeatedly as she took her last breath for who and what she has been to me.
‘It was something more than a friend or family member. Something so different. You can’t define it. Our connection was purely DIVINE. An incomparable love.’

Miley added: ‘MJ was a true queen. She wore her grace, dignity & kindness like a crown. She will never be forgotten and will forever be missed. To know her is to love her. It has been my honor being her mom and best friend.’
