Police have arrested 21-year-old Kewon Dontrell White for the murder of Dallas rapper #Mo3.
@cbsdfw reports, “a witness contacted police during the investigation and that information helped lead to White’s arrest.” White was charged with murder and possession of a firearm.
It’s also reported his bond will be set by a magistrate at a later date.
If you recall, Mo3 lost his life on November 11th, during a high-speed chase. According to police, Mo3 left a female companion’s house and noticed he was being watched. He was then followed from the home to a gas station, and that’s when he became suspicious and jumped on I-35 in an attempt to lose the other vehicle. While attempting to navigate his way through traffic, he ended up crashing on the side of the road.
TMZ stated, “Our sources say the fatal shooting went down like this … the gunman and Mo3 were both traveling northbound on I-35 when the trigger man got out of his car and approached Mo3’s. The rapper got out of his car and started running, with the gunman giving chase, firing multiple rounds and hitting Mo3 in the back of the head.”
An innocent bystander was also shot, while sitting in his vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As you may know, Mo3 was also reportedly shot in December of 2019. The rapper put a video on Instagram showing him with blood all over his clothes and detailing the incident.
Most recently, the Dallas rapper collabed with Boosie for his hit single, “Errybody (Remix).”
