Quebec provincial police have issued an Amber Alert for two girls reported missing from Terrebonne, Que., an off-island suburb located north of the island of Montreal.
Sûreté du Québec are looking for Dayana Di Menna, 7, and two-year-old Liana Di Menna.
According to police, Dayana has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a coat over pyjamas. She is missing her two front teeth; she is three feet tall and weighs 65 pounds.
Liana has blonde hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a coat and red and white leggings. She is two-and-a-half feet tall and weighs 25 pounds.
Police have identified Jessica Kate Boulet, 34, as a suspect. They said the girls went missing in Terrebonne Sunday afternoon.
They are searching for a blue 2019 Land Rover Discovery with the licence plate FMV 6823.
They say that the vehicle was last seen heading west toward the nearby town of Bois-des-Fillion.
The public is asked to call 911 with any information and to not approach the suspect.
