YFN Lucci, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, has turned himself in and is in custody at the Fulton County Jail after being wanted for his alleged connection to an Atlanta murder.
As previously reported, on Tuesday it was reported that YFN Lucci was a suspect wanted for multiple charges for his alleged role in the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams, which took place last month. Records show that he is now in custody at the Fulton County Jail and has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, unlawful participation in street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
According to CNN, his attorney Thomas Reynolds said in a statement, “The presumption of innocence is a fundamental constitutional right for every citizen. Beyond this, we have no further comment at this time.”
As mentioned before, James Adams was found with a gunshot wound to his head and rushed to the hospital where he pronounced deceased from his wounds. Another victim, Kevin Wright, was shot as well, however, he survived the shooting. Officials believe that both shootings are related.
Two other suspects were previously arrested in Miami in connection to the murder.
Prior to turning himself in, authorities were offering a $5,000 reward for information that could help lead them to YFN Lucci’s arrest.
