Lyric Chanel, 13-year-old who captured the hearts of many, has lost her battle to brain cancer.
According to her official IG account, yhung.chanel_, she has passed. “She is resting so peacefully and so beautiful. I Can see your halo baby girl. Heaved gained a beautiful Angel this morning,” the message read.
Earlier this week, Lyric’s mother shared a message that stated she only had a few days to live. The message read, “Just got news from Dr that Lyric is dying and only have days to live… These are the hardest words to have to hear.”
As you know, the 13-year-old and her family have been very transparent with sharing her journey and documenting her 10 plus surgeries, including the chemo treatment she’s received while living in Houston. Lyric’s personality even captured the heart of Beyoncé & Trae Tha Truth. Last October, Beyoncé surprised one of her biggest fans with pieces from her Ivy Park Collection! Lyric shared the news on Instagram with a video with the caption, “Thank you so much @beyonce this couldn’t have come at a better time. I just got back from getting Chemo, and look at the surprise that was waiting. I love you so much. You are my Yoncé.”
